Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until fully melted.
- Combine pasta with cheese sauce, then transfer to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
